This HMFX takes advantage of MSIE 4.0 Dynamic HTML and will not work in any other browser at the time this was written.

The Fader Dynamic HTML will fade an image in and out in response to a mouse action. An ActiveX control supplied with MSIE 4.0 is used to achieve this effect. The mouse action can be any one of three options: clicking on the image; moving the mouse cursor over the image; or moving the mouse cursor off of the image. You can also define the size of the display area for the effect. Animated GIFs in the fader area will freeze until they are clicked on, and animate while they fade.
